StudioVox can also process your videos to be played through a channel other than the internet!

For example, a projet on a CD-ROM, a presentation or any special event.
These channels demand - and allow for - a picture quality superior to that provided for by today's still modest internet connection speed. We are talking about 400 to 1000 KBytes per second, or, in telecoms parlance, 3.2 to 8 Megabits per second.
This is why we only present you with very short clips.

Download our Mpeg-1 "JUmbo" example, which breaks the limits usually attached to this format, both by the video window size and the picture quality. This format's big advantage: It is 100% Mac and PC compatible.

Or download our Mpeg-2 example, identical in nature to a DVD video.

On Windows...

The Mpeg-2 format requires a DVD player software program, for ex.
WinDVD (http://www.intervideo.com/),
DVDEXpress (http://www.mediamatics.com/)
or Power DVD. (http://www.gocyberlink.com/)

After installing any of these, the Windows Media Player is able to play an Mpeg-2 file by double-clicking on the file's icon.
Please note that, in order to do justice to this format, we suggest as a minimum a Pentium III PC or a G3 Mac, and plenty of RAM.

On a Macintosh...

Mpeg-2 is supported by QuickTime from version 6.
